a word of caution…

If you have sensitive skin, this product might not be the best choice for you. The formula contains a bunch of common irritants and ingredients that don't provide any known benefit for the skin. I assess the overall irritancy of this moisturizer to be high.

Texture: This moisturizer has a non-greasy texture that absorbs excess sebum and prevents the appearance of imperfections to provide you with mattified, flawless skin.

Scent: I love the Origins Clear Improvement Pore Clearing Moisturizer, but I have to admit that the scent isn't for everyone. It's a combination of mint, eucalyptus, and white thyme, which can be a little strong at first but fades away quickly.

Application: I absolutely love Origins Clear Improvement Moisturizer. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it's worked great with my PM routine as well as my AM routine.

I only need about a pea-sized amount for my entire face (add more for the neck/decollete), but it's intensely moisturizing without looking greasy or shiny. It also plays well with various serums and toners, and under my makeup —my skin looks fantastic!

Verdict

The Origins Clear Improvement Moisturizer is hands down one of the most instantly hydrating products I have ever tried. It glides on like silk, feels weightless, and keeps skin well-balanced/hydrated up until your next skincare routine. Sits well under makeup, with no pilling or greasiness.

Applying this moisturizer feels almost like giving your skin a hug and a glass of water.

I will provide more updates in the future because I have only been using this moisturizer for 3 weeks. My skin has gotten much softer, properly hydrated, refreshed, and overall healthier appearing, from what I can tell so far. My pores seem to be getting smaller. I do occasionally experience hormonal breakouts, but I've observed that my skin is now more robust. Compared to how it was previously, it practically returns to normal faster. I also hardly ever have dry areas.

Origins Clear Improvement Pore Clearing Moisturizer is a great option for those with oily skin, and I highly recommend it! It does exactly what it claims, so if you're looking for a new skin-clearing moisturizer that promises to control shine and improve the look of your pores-give this one a shot!

The formula is lightweight and non-greasy, so you can use it before applying makeup without worrying about messing up your foundation or powder.

The only downside to this product is that it does not contain SPF protection—so if you're looking for an SPF moisturizer, this isn't the best option for you. However, if you're okay with using a separate sunscreen product then this moisturizer will work great!
